Barbara
Skidmore
Jun 13, 1987 — Feb 5, 2026
Barbara Ann (Ball) Skidmore, age 38, of Neenah, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Miravida Living Facility in Oshkosh. She was born on June 13, 1987, in Green Bay, the daughter of David and Donna (Klister) Ball.
Barbara was a 2005 graduate of Pulaski High School. Following high school, she attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College for a short time. She spent much of her working life in the paper, plastic, and metal industries, and was most recently employed as a lead person at Value Added Distributors in Neenah.
Barbara fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Above all else, she loved her daughter, Jasmine, with all her heart. She also had a deep love for animals, especially her pets, Wellington, Skipper, Romeo, and Ranger. Barbara had an infectious laugh, an incredibly kind heart, and adventurous spirit. She treasured her family and friends and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication, often taking on leadership roles in the workplace. In her free time, she enjoyed walks in the park, being in nature, gardening, crafting, knitting, doing puzzles, and anything related to Harry Potter.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jasmine Skidmore of Neenah; her parents, David and Donna Ball of Howard; her siblings: Stephanie (Kevin) Nuthals of Suamico, Frances (Scott) Meek of Shiocton, Bernadette Stainbrook of Hancock, Benjamin Ball of Peshtigo, Sarah (Mike) Keiler of Pulaski, and Elise Caldwell of Suamico; and her aunts and uncles: Elaine Klister, Joanne (Dennis) O'Donnell, Don (Michele) Klister, Mary (Kirt) Isaacson, and Yvonne Brooks. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, David Sr. and Sidney Ball-Thompson; her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Helen Klister; her brother-in-law, Daniel Stainbrook; and her uncles, Robert, John, and William Klister.
Friends are invited to gather with the family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski Street, Pulaski, on Saturday, February 14, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Bill Rooney, O.F.M., presiding. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Barbara's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Miravida Living Facility and the Compassus Hospice team for the compassionate care provided to Barbara, especially, Marissa, Sara, Sienna, Peggy, and Trish. They also wish to thank Fr. Brian Wideman for his spiritual care and compassion.
