Bernadine V. Lepak, 91, Pulaski, passed on to eternal life early Thursday morning, August 10, 2023. The daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Baranczyk) Laskowski was born February 14, 1932, in Milwaukee.
Her family moved to the Pulaski area when she was five years old. Bernadine graduated from Pulaski High School with the Class of 1950. On September 15, 1951, she married Lloyd C. Lepak at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. The couple made their home near Hofa Park on the farm where Lloyd grew up. Bernadine devoted her time and energy to lovingly caring for her family and helping on the farm. She loved to travel, visiting most of the 50 states, Canada, and the Caribbean. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and also board games with her children and grandchildren. She fulfilled one of her dreams of living in her own apartment in Pulaski from October, 2005 – January, 2022. In February, 2022, she moved to and resided at Emerald Bay Assisted Living Facility, Hobart. She is a godmother of six: Dorothy Baxter, James Baranczyk, Eugene Lepak, Dennis Adamski, Linda Stahl, and Frank Adamski.
Bernadine is survived by her children: Michael (Carol) Lepak, Oconto Falls, Lori (Brian) Jarosinski, Pulaski, Mary (Todd) Raether, Cecil, and Diane (Patrick) Smet, Sobieski; grandchildren: Kurt (Lydia) Ravenwood, Kellie (Ryan) Jones, Erik (Kaylyn) Raether, Caitlin Raether, Jennah Smet, Trevor Smet, and Ryan Smet; great-grandchildren: Greyson Raether, Clara Raether, Alina Raether, and Juniper Ravenwood; brother, Myron (Audrey) Laskowski; sister, Elaine (Duane) Karcz; sister-in-law, Frances Lepak; nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Lepak, on December 30, 2007; parents, Frank and Sophie; parents-in-law, Frank and Stella Lepak; siblings-in-law, Leonard (Constance) Lepak, Alvin (Eleanor) Lepak, Richard (Lorraine) Lepak, Raphael Lepak; nephews Doug Lepak and Roger Laskowski.
Friends are invited to gather at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Sunday, August 13, from 4-7 p.m. with a parish wake service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9-11 a.m. at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. David Kobak, O.F.M. presiding. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Hofa Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski, the Cardiac Services Fund of the Bellin Health Foundation, or Unity Hospice.
The family would like to thank the staff at Emerald Bay Assisted Living Facility, especially those who personally cared for Bernadine, including her niece, Kathy (Laskowski) Filipiak, and Unity Hospice for their help and support the past month.
