Obituary

Dan Lawniczak, 62, of Abrams, passed away from a cardiac event on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. He was born on December 16, 1963, in Green Bay, to Robert and Joan (Vander Loop) Lawniczak.

Dan graduated from Pulaski High School in 1982 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Science.

On August 8, 2018, Dan made Denise Challis his bride.

Dan dedicated more than 30 years of service to UPS with the majority as a package delivery driver. He was a member of Teamsters Local 334 and served as an usher at Lambeau Field for 12 years. Following his retirement from UPS, he worked alongside his wife at EMG, LLC in Green Bay, proudly developing the title of "Special Projects Engineer."

An avid Packers fan, Dan rarely missed a game. He enjoyed thrifting, sipping piña coladas on the beach, and could fix just about anything — earning his reputation as "Mr. Fix-It." When his sons were young, he loved coaching any of their sport teams, through it all Dan was a devoted "road warrior," traveling hours without hesitation to watch them compete. Above all, Dan cherishes his grandchildren and special little guys as they mean the world to him. Most importantly Dan never ended a phone conversation without saying, "I love you."

Dan is survived by his three sons: Tyler Lawniczak; Brandon (Hailey) Lawniczak; and Spencer (Kelli) Lawniczak; two grandchildren, Quinn and Griffin; and his special little guys, Mack, Linc, and Rhys. He is further survived by his beloved wife, Denise; his children gained through marriage, Jared (Kelsey) Bronkhorst and Janelle Bronkhorst; his brother, Randy (Kimm) Lawniczak; and his sisters, Terri (Marty) Thomas and Beth (Chris) James, along with their children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joan, and by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
