Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Edward Joseph Ladowski on January 28, 2024. He was born to the late Edward and Violet (Petasek) Ladowski on March 19 th, 1952. Ed attended Assumption B.V.M. Grade School and Pulaski High School. Following graduation, he went on to the University of Wisconsin Madison to study journalism.

Books and words always held a fascination for Ed. He did crossword puzzles daily and prided himself having as he said "a plethora of useless information". The fascination gave him a variety of interests.

His most enduring career was as a respiratory therapist. He worked briefly in Two Rivers and at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. Ed ended his career at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. After retirement he indulged another of his enduring interests in cars and motorcycles volunteering at the Automotive Museum in Green Bay.

Family and friends were also special to Ed. He lovingly cared for his father, mother, and sister in their need. Anyone who knew Ed can attest to the fact that he was a gentle soul with a kind heart and a touch of humor that kept life interesting.

Friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Ed's life at D2 Sports Pub, 530 Larsen Orch Pkwy, Hobart, on Sunday, March 10 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery, Pulaski.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetic Association or to the Transplant Clinic at Froedtert in Milwaukee.

He held special gratitude for Sherry Szczepanski APNP and Dr. John Thurlow and the staff at Fresenius Dialysis Clinic.

Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.marnochafuneralhome.com or on the Marnocha Funeral Home Facebook Page.
