George
Krupka
Nov 7, 1946 — May 10, 2024
George L. Krupka, 77, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at Country Villa Assisted Living in Pulaski. The son of Thomas and Alice (Hoppa) Krupka was born November 7, 1946, in Stevens Point.
George grew up in Stevens Point and moved to the Angelica area with his former wife, Kay, to raise their family. He worked as a machinist for Paper Converting for over 40 years. George worked second shift, so he was able to run his welding business, Krupka's Welding, during the day. In retirement, he enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, watching old westerns, and making ironwork decor. He could fix anything…with his welder.
Before retirement, he purchased a home outside of Pella on the river. He also purchased a home in White Lake, which ended up being his final home. George loved to listen to polka music on Sundays and enjoyed anything by Chad Przybylski. He looked forward to the Hofa Park Picnic every year.
Survivors include his three children: Connie Pashouwer, Jackie (Mark) Shallow, and Matt Krupka; his grandchildren: Emily, Brayden, Levi, Makayla, and Hunter; a step-granddaughter, Leah (Chad) Leiffring; one great-grandson, Levi Jr.; step-great-grandchildren: Weston and Isla; former wife, Kay Krupka; and his sister, Elaine Trelka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Alice.
Friends are invited to gather at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, from 10 am until 12 noon on Friday, May17th. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12 noon. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. in St. James and Stanislaus Cemetery, White Lake.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Bristol Hospice Team for their compassionate care.
