Oct 30, 1936 — Jul 18, 2026
Geraldine "Geri" Egnarski, 89, of Pulaski, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home on July 18, 2026, surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 30, 1936, in Maple Grove, Wisconsin, to the late Leo and Vicki (Bluma) Karcz. On May 5, 1956, she was united in marriage to James "Jim" Egnarski. Together they shared more than 65 years of marriage, raised nine children, founded their lifelong business, Jim's Auto Body, and built a life centered on hard work, family and lasting traditions. Geri was admired for her strong work ethic and her active lifestyle. She proudly sold Avon for more than 50 years, spent most of her career at Carver Boat, where she was a dedicated employee who took great pride in her work, and cleaned the Pulaski Library for many years. In addition to her work, Geri enjoyed crafting and sharing her creations at local craft shows, continuing to participate even as recently as last year.
She found great joy in caring for her beautiful flower gardens, cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers, relaxing at the family cabin in Boulder Junction, decorating for Christmas, and, in her younger years, camping with her family. She treasured her role as a grandmother and took great pride in what her grandchildren and great grandchildren accomplished. Her creativity, determination, and dedication left a lasting impression on those who knew her and will continue to be remembered for years to come.
Geri is survived by her children: Cindy (Steve) Doyen and their children, Josh Doyen, John Doyen, Chris Doyen, Matt (Danielle) Doyen, Adam Doyen; Jamie (Wayne) Smith and their children, Nicole (Jason) Carlson, Kelli (Chris) Taylor, Brett (Brittni) Smith; Doug (Cindy) Egnarski and their children, Lauren (Pat) Cusack, Andrew (Allie) Egnarski, Jenna Egnarski; Rob (Anne) Egnarski and their children, Bryce (Kendra) Egnarski, Mckenna (Brock) Moldenhauer, Cayden (Chelsey) Egnarski; Gail (Mike) Pearson and their children, Nicholas Pearson, Travis Pearson, Chris Pearson; Roger (Megan) Egnarski and their children, Brayden Egnarski, Trenton Egnarski; Brian (Nikki) Egnarski and their children, Brock Egnarski, Brynn Egnarski; Dean (Shelly) Egnarski and their children, Courtney (Alex) Lepak, Colton Egnarski; Jackie Egnarski's children, Ashley Schounard, Erin Schounard, Andrew (Nicole) Schounard; 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many other beloved family members and friends.
