Gino Stocco, 86, of Pulaski, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home. The son of Attilo and Ida (Widi) Stocco, was born February 6, 1939, in Green Bay.
Gino grew up in Green Bay and was a 1957 graduate of Green Bay West High School. Shortly after high school, Gino enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Germany until his honorable discharge in 1961.
Upon his return, Gino worked for his dad at Stocco and Sons. He then joined the Mason's Union and did concrete flatwork until his retirement. Following retirement, he worked with his son, James, flipping houses.
Gino loved the outdoors and nature. He enjoyed making wood, hunting, and was a steward of the land. In his earlier years he enjoyed his hobby farm in Sobieski. While his children were growing up, he never missed a sporting or school event.
Survivors include his three children: James Stocco, Angela Stocco, and Randy (Kayla) Stocco; two grandchildren: Roman Stocco and Rylee (Ryan) O'Connor; three great-grandchildren: Isabella, Knox, and Christian; two sisters: Julia (Jim) Hoes and Roma Dolan; the mother of his children, Alberta Stocco; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Judy (Jake) Demmerly, John Stocco, and Ralph Stocco.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Friday, April 11, from 4-6:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Following the service will be military honors rendered by the Pulaski Area Veterans. Burial will be in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery, Pulaski.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Unity Hospice Team for the care and compassion given to Gino.
