Gloria
Wheaton
Dec 2, 1946 — May 23, 2025
Gloria Wheaton, age 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Lakehouse Assisted Living in Manitowoc, Wisconsin surrounded by her daughter and loving family. The daughter of the late Steve and Celia (Banaszynski) Baranczyk was born in Green Bay on December 2, 1946. Gloria grew up in the Pulaski are and was a 1964 graduate of Pulaski High School.
Gloria had a zest for life. Her sense of humor, quick wit, and sassiness kept everyone around her laughing. She loved spending time with her family and friends, going out to eat with her Tuesday lunch group, or playing cards with her lifelong girlfriends. She loved watching the Packers, especially when she won money on pull tab numbers. Visiting with her many friends or watching the Game Show Network were some of her favorite pastimes. She adored her grandchildren and would end conversations with "I Love You more, more, more."
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Holly (Michael) Hoffman; seven grandchildren: Hunter Decker, Ethan Decker, Shane Johnson, Nate Hoffman, Nick (Audrey) Hoffman, McKayla Hoffman, and Natasha Hoffman; her bonus daughter, Kim (Mike) Boyce; step sisters: Sharon (Don) Van Ark and Carol Przybylski and the late Jerry Przybylski; dear friends, Ann & Joann; along with other relatives and great friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Celia Baranczyk; her brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Florence Baranczyk; step-mother, Florence Baranczyk; niece, Carlene Lenard; and former husband, Paul Wheaton.
