Gregory A. Zielinski, 75, of Krakow, died Tuesday, July 3, 2024, from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. The son of Arthur and Eleanor (Kalemba) was born on September 2, 1948, in Chicago, IL.
At an early age, Greg's family moved to Wisconsin where he attended Assumption B.V.M. grade school and graduated from Pulaski High School in 1966. Following high school, Greg attended the University of Oshkosh for a couple of years. He then became an Independent Over the Road Truck Driver hauling loads across the United States.
In his younger years, Greg enjoyed hunting and fishing. After retirement, Greg enjoyed vacationing with family and friends and relaxing at family get togethers. He also enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
Greg was a bit of an entrepreneur as well, buying and selling different businesses. He didn't necessarily work the business, but was good at delegating. Greg loved his extended family and appreciated everything they had done for him, especially as things had progressed with his MS. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family and influencing with his unique knowledge.
Survivors include his siblings: Mark Zielinski, Susan Noffke, Timothy Zielinski, and Laurie (John) Tiegs; nieces and nephews: Natalee Zielinski, Pat (Mary) Noffke, Chris (Michelle) Noffke, Charlie Noffke, Angela Zielinski, and Sean Zielinski; special godmother, Aunt Dolly; and many cousins and other family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Zielinski.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Monday, July 22, from 4-6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, from 10-11 a.m. at St. Casimir Church, 146 Park St., Krakow. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. Carmen Scuderi, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Meadowbrook Nursing Home and the Unity Hospice Team for their care and compassion.
