Helen Mae
Kobylarczyk
Jul 13, 1930 — May 28, 2026
Helen Mae Kobylarczyk (née Pioro), 95, died peacefully the morning of May 28, 2026, in her bed in Jacksonville, FL. The daughter of Albert and Helen (née Rostango) Pioro was born July 13, 1930, in Sobieski, WI. On June 25, 1949, she married Louis J. Kobylarczyk at St. John Cantius Church in Sobieski and shared 69 years of marriage at their farm on Lower Road.
Helen found joy in life's simple pleasures like working through a challenging puzzle, playing cards, taking a leisurely walk in the morning, watering her flowers, and sneaking a sweet treat when no one was looking. She was a woman of abiding faith, her devotion reflected in her many years of service to her parish, St. Maximilian Kolbe in Sobieski, WI. There, Helen was a proud and active member of the Rosary Society and the Altar Society. Later, at St. Joseph's in Jacksonville, FL, she shared her time and talents in St. Margaret's Crafting Group.
She is survived by her sister Rose Mary Sikorski; her four loving daughters: Josephine (Dana) Solberg, Beverly (Steve) Sterrett, Diane Kolosso, and Carol (John) Turknett; seven grandchildren: Daniel (Sarah), Joshua, Eric (Jeannette), Christine, Anthony (Nicole), Caitlin (Brett), and Nicholas; twelve great-grandchildren: Alexis, Brandy, Kenya, Trever, Isabelle, Sawyer, Margaret, Claire, Violet, Lexi, Benjamin, and Louis; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Louis, Helen was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Sissy, and two sisters, Florence Sikorski and MaryAnn Wilinski.
Friends are welcome at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 6051 Noble St., Sobieski, for visitation beginning at 9 a.m. June 4, 2026. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., followed by burial in St. John Cantius Cemetery. Lunch will follow at the Chase Town Hall.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation for remembrance masses at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church.
