Obituary

Jack C. Schwartz, 67, of Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. He was born on July 6, 1958, in Green Bay, to Donald and Rose Mary (Cornell) Schwartz.

Jack graduated from Pulaski High School with the Class of 1976. On September 26, 1981, he was united in marriage to Sandra Schmidt at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Green Bay. At a young age, Jack began working alongside his father at Schwartz Siding & Roofing. He took over the business in 1994 and continued to operate it for more than 40 years.

In his younger years, Jack enjoyed camping and traveling. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting whitetail deer, bear, fishing, and spending time at the family farm in Upper Michigan. He played an instrumental role in the restoration of the Stone Barn in the Town of Chase. Jack was also active in the Pulaski Learn to Hunt Program, the Bonduel Polar Bears Snowmobile Club, and was an FFA alumni. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; his three children: Adam Schwartz, Kayla Schwartz (Derek Denny), and Nik Schwartz; two grandchildren, Aleyna and Johnny. He is further survived by his siblings: Scott (Lisa) Schwartz and Jill Sanders; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald and Beverly Schmidt; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Tom (Kris) Schmidt, Sherry (Dennis) Hilbert, Tim Schmidt (Charlene), and Sue (Greg) Bertrand; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Rose Mary Schwartz; and a brother-in-law, Fred Sanders.

Family and friends may gather at St. John Lutheran Church, 910 S. St. Augustine St., Pulaski, on Friday, April 24, from 4 – 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday from 9 – 11 a.m., with the Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Larry Yaw.
