Obituary

Kevin M. Thomson, 47, of Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident while in Wyoming.

The son of Dave and Mary Kay Thomson, Kevin was born on May 16, 1978, in Lena. He grew up in Lena and graduated from Lena High School with the Class of 1996. Following high school, Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge on October 28, 1999.

After returning home from military service, Kevin began a career as an over-the-road truck driver, working for several companies over the years. In 2018, he achieved a longtime goal of owning his own LLC and continued being a part of the trucking community. Kevin was an active member of ChiTown Large Cars and the Lakewood Paul Bunyan Snowmobile Riders.

Kevin enjoyed camping, grilling out, boating, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers with a cold drink in his hand. An avid snowmobiler, he found joy in the outdoors and the friendships that came with it. Above all else, Kevin cherished time spent with his children and loved them dearly.

Survivors include his three children: Kara Thomson, Logan Thomson, and Ella Thomson; his parents, Dave and Mary Kay Thomson; the mother of his children, Jennifer Thomson; two brothers: Paul (Michelle) Thomson and their children, Hailey, Trent, and Grant; and Christopher Thomson and his daughters, Madison and Aria; stepbrother, Scott (Lisa) Hauser and family; stepsister, Trisha (Keith) Sadowski and family; Jennifer's parents, Geno and Dee McKeefry and Don Christensen; two brothers-in-law: Joseph Christensen and DJ Christensen; a sister-in-law, Melissa Bradley; along with several other family members and close friends, his NTL family and many other truck drivers he passed along the road.

Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Earl and Alice Thomson, his maternal grandmother, Margaret Koch and his four-legged companion, Zeke

Friends are invited to gather with the family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski Street, Pulaski, on Sunday, February 15, from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. Military honors will be rendered at 3:00 p.m. by the Pulaski Area Veterans.

The family respectfully requests that no flowers be sent. Memorial donations will be given to Kevin's children for their future plans. The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the first responders in Wyoming and to all of his "weekend friends"—you know who you are.
