Linda Marie Schwartz, 75, Krakow, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, at a Green Bay hospital following a short illness. The daughter of the late Robert and Dolores (Kowalkowski) Nowak was born February 5, 1951, and grew up on a small dairy farm.
A 1969 graduate of Pulaski High School, Linda went to cosmetology school in Green Bay
On May 13, 1972, she married Dennis Schwartz at St. Casimir Church in Krakow. The couple made their home and raised their family in Krakow. Linda worked as a hairstylist at Kut and Kurl Beauty Salon in Pulaski for several years.
She was a hard worker and loved her family very much. Linda enjoyed crocheting and knitting and tending her flower garden. In addition to being an avid reader, she was known to her family as a WSSOO (she watched the same shows over and over!)
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Schwartz; two sons: Lee (Cara) Schwartz, Oregon, WI and Craig (Katie) Schwartz, Pulaski’ six grandchildren: Claire (Andrew) Flood, Chloe (fiancé Zach Todd) Schwartz, Claudia Schwartz, Caden Schwartz, Tyler Schwartz, and Mason Schwartz; one sister, Bonnie Lasecki, Pulaski; a sister-in-law, Shari Nowak, Krakow; Dennis’ siblings: Gary (Pam) Schwartz, Green Bay, Jeanette (Dale) Humecki, Pulaski, David (Diane) Schwartz, Pulaski, Kevin (Lynette) Schwartz, Sampson, and Jeannette (Paul) Santiago, Brownsville; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Daryl Nowak and two brothers-in-law: Randy Lasecki and Jeff Schwartz.
Friends are invited to gather with the family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28th. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Fr. Edward Tlucek, O.F.M. presiding.
