Marlene M. Massey, 85, Pulaski, passed away peacefully, with her loved ones at her side, on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. The daughter of Norbert and Laverne (Bringe) Hansford was born May 9, 1939, in Green Bay.

Marlene grew up in Green Bay and was a 1957 graduate of Green Bay West High School. In the fall of 1967, while working at Sure Way Grocery Store, she met Clarence Massey Jr. The two of them were engaged In February of 1968 and then married on September 21, 1968, at St. Joseph Church in Green Bay. She raised her children until her 50's at which time she re-entered the workforce, and worked for Lord's Dental Studio in Green Bay until her retirement.

An avid snowmobiler, Marlene also enjoyed gardening, quilting, and puzzling. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her two children: Mark (Chris) Massey and Candice (Tony) Weslow; her grandchildren: David and son, Aries, Daniel (Hannah) and their children, Lincoln and Harper, Crystal, Alsteen, Tyler (Gabby), and Connor; and a sister-in-law, Carol Krozel.

In addition to her husband, Clarence Jr., and parents, Norbert and Laverne, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Jackie (Paul) Schmidt and Sharon (Gary) VanStraten; and a brother-in-law, Ken Krozel.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ss. Edward & Isidore Church, 3667 Flintville Rd., Suamico, at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 3 ^rd , with Fr. Scott Valentyn presiding.

The family would like to thank the staffs at St. Vincent and St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay and St. Vincent Home Health for the great care given to Marlene.
