Martha L. Kruse, 96, of Oconto Falls, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on November 20, 2024. The daughter of Joseph and Sophie (Przybylski) Kaczorowski was born March 17, 1928, in the Town of Maple Grove.

On January 13, 1947, Martha married Gail Kruse, Sr. The couple farmed together in the Town of Morgan until their retirement. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and was always there for her children. She was a longtime member of St. John's Catholic Parish in Gillett and later St. Casimir Parish in Krakow.

Martha loved being outdoors. She enjoyed cutting the lawn on her zero turn and riding her Kubota; her yard was always meticulous. She also enjoyed crocheting, baking, and cooking.

Survivors include her nine children: Gail Jr. (Donna) Kruse, New London, James Kruse, Oconto Falls, Richard (Geri) Kruse, Curran, MI, Gordon (Carolyn) Kruse, Evans, GA, Linda (Melvin) Much, Marion, Ronnie (June) Kruse, Lena, Sue Kruse, New London, Lee Roy (Diane) Kruse, Oconto Falls, and David (Kelly) Kruse, Chesterfield, MI; 26 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a brother, Joe (Donna) Kaczorowski; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

In addition to her husband, Gail Sr., and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Faith; two brothers: Archie Kaczorowski and Richard (Arlene) Kaczorowski; a sister, Helen (Lawrence) Zablocki; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Kruse.

Friends are invited to gather with family at St. Casimir Church, 146 Park St., Krakow on Saturday, November 23, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon with Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. presiding and Fr. Finian Zaucha, O.F.M. concelebrating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to granddaughters Jackie and Nicole for all their help with grandma. They would also like to thank the Compassus Hospice Team and the staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their compassionate care.
