Martha B. Peters, 89, Town of Maple Grove, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026, at her home. The daughter of Mark and Blanche (LaCount) Minor was born on April 19, 1937, in Green Bay.
Martha grew up in Green Bay and graduated from Green Bay West High School with the class of 1954. On June 26, 1954, she married Randall Peters at Christ Episcopal Church in Green Bay.
Over the years, Martha worked at several different places, including Red Owl in Green Bay, Northern Shoe in Pulaski, the gift shop at Austin Straubel Airport, and Peters Bargain City in Pulaski, which she ran with her husband, Randy.
Martha loved bowling with her husband, Randy. After his passing, she continued to bowl in the ladies' league. She also enjoyed doing word searches, going out to eat, having long chats on the phone, feeding the birds, and listening to Willie's Roadhouse on SiriusXM. Martha loved to shop and was definitely a bargain shopper. Martha had an incredible memory and remained sharp and quick-witted all the way to the end.
Survivors include her three sons: William (Susan) Peters, David (Peggy) Peters, and Mark (Wanda) Peters; five grandchildren: Jessica Peters, Eric Peters, Gregory Peters (Emily Hoffman), Chris (Ally) Peters, and Lynn (Jason) Adams; four great-grandchildren: Airiana Peters, Jace and Cora Peters, and Liberty Adams; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
In addition to her husband, Randy and parents, Mark and Blanche she was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law: Milton (Rosie) Peters, Seifred (Betty) Peters, and Don Peters.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Peace Lutheran Church, 1954 County Rd. U, Green Bay, on Tuesday, August 25, from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Stuart Dornfeld officiating. Interment will be in Ft. Howard Cemetery, Green Bay.
