Mary Pat (Liimakka) Ludlow, age 70, of Pulaski, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. The daughter of Russell and Jeanette (Heinske) Liimakka was born on January 14, 1955, in Ironwood, MI and later made her way to Sobieski.
On July 15, 1978, Mary married the love of her life, James "Jim" Ludlow in Ironwood. Together they shared a life rooted in family, love and time spent together. Mary worked as an aide for the Pulaski School District for over 30 years.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandma; Mary, cherished every moment spent with her family. She loved family get togethers and attending her grandkids events. Mary enjoyed listening to the Brewers on the radio on the front porch or back yard and camping with her family and loved ones. Mary and Jim enjoyed going for car rides together, whether looking for deer, exploring new roads, or revisiting old favorite spots filled with all their best memories.
Survivors include her loving husband, Jim Ludlow; three children: Jake (Andi) Ludlow, Pulaski, Carrie (Steve) Cizman, Krakow, and Cole Ludlow (Alyssa Conard), Pulaski; a sister, Jackee Gutowski; brother-in-law, Michael (Vickie) Ludlow; and sister-in-law, Donna (Dave) Meier. She is further survived by her beloved grandchildren: Maddix, Mayson, Emmi Ludlow, Mikey Cizman, and Owen and Paige Chambers, all of whom were the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, Russell and Jeanette Liimakke, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Deloris Ludlow; brother, Ray Liimakka; sister, Linda Azzoli; brothers-in-law: Carl Azzoli and Tony Gutowski.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., on Friday, January 2, from 3-5 p.m. There will be a Celebration of Mary's Life at Scolly's Hometown, 149 W. Pulaski St., following services at the funeral home.
Mary will be remembered for the love for her family, appreciation for the simple moments, warmth and humor she brought to everyone around her. She always knew how to have the best time and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Mary's Hospital for the excellent care given to her.
