Michael R. Brott, 64, Town of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Thursday, July 10, 2025. The son of Francis and Mary Jane (Stuckart) Brott was born on April 8, 1961, in Green Bay.

Mike grew up in Green Bay and attended Green Bay West High School. On September 20, 1980, he married Diane Bierhals. Over the years Mike worked various jobs: painting, restoring classic cars, and most recently working for several area dairy farms.

In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and stock car racing. Mike also enjoyed making hay for Diane's horses and visiting his parents at Lake Hilbert. He loved spending time on his International tractor and was very proud of the recently completed restoration he did on it.

Survivors include his loving wife, Diane; his mother, Mary Jane Brott; a grandson, Hunter Brott; sister, Lynne (Jon) Kohlin; brother, Mark (Sheri) Brott; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Roger (Mary) Bierhals, Linda (Craig) Stender, Nancy Bierhals, Robert (Daisy) Bierhals, Martin Bierhals, and Laura (Ben) Bukowiec; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Francis; son, Shaun Brott; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dallas and Eleanor Bierhals; and a brother-in-law, Micheal Bierhals.

Friends are invited to gather with the family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Tuesday, July 15, from 4-7 p.m. with a Celebration of Mike's Life at 7 p.m. Interment will take place in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery, Pulaski.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the friends and family who helped Mike and Diane recently move into their new dream house. They would also like to thank the Aurora Hospice group for their care and compassion.
