Myron J Karcz, 86, of Pulaski, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 4, 2026, at a Green Bay hospital following a short illness with his loving family at his side. The son of John and Angeline (Wijas) Karcz was born December 22, 1939, in Green Bay.
Myron graduated from Pulaski High School. Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Korea, Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and Fort Hood, TX. After his discharge Myron came home to Pulaski, where he married the love of his life, Carol Splitgerber on July 14, 1963, at Assumption B.V.M Church. The couple lived and raised their family in Pulaski.
Myron worked at Carver Boat, then at Karcz Ford, and later owned and operated Karcz Auto Salvage. Myron loved hunting and fishing, tinkering with old cars and heavy equipment, and going to auctions. He loved spending time with his family, including going on "car tours" with his sister, Carol. He also enjoyed hanging out with his good friend, Gail Bierhals.
Survivors include one son, Scott (Holly) Karcz, Pulaski and his daughter, Renee Karcz, Little Suamico; his grandchildren: Michael and Andrew Karcz, Ashley, Amber and Adam Heller, and Aspen Skar; great-grandchildren: Cali, Kyla, Aiden, Brooklyn, Willow, Adeline, Jamison, Emberlyn, Ollie, Aksel, and Haisley. He is further survived by his siblings: Carol Walla, Mardell Wirtz, and Larry (Donna) Karcz; three sisters-in-law and two brothers in law: Ruth Peot, Nancy Lindenberg, Mary (Jamie) Reinke, and Donna Kerr; many nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, in 2018; two sons and a daughter in law; David (Nancy) Karcz, and Brian Karcz; siblings: Don (Venita) Karcz, and Leonard Karcz; brothers-in-law: Jim Wirtz, Fred Lindenberg, Ken Peot, and Ken Splitgerber.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E Pulaski Street, Pulaski, on Thursday June 11, from 4-8 with a 7:30 p.m. Wake Service. Visitation will continue at Assumption B.V.M. Church on Friday June 12, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. William Rooney, O.F.M. presiding. Military honors rendered by the Pulaski Area Veterans will immediately follow the Mass. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
