Pamela L. Castro, 69, Pulaski, passed away peacefully following a long illness on December 20, 2023, with her husband at her side. The daughter of Adam and Glennes (Altman) Grosskopf was born May 15, 1954, in Manitowoc.

Pam grew up in Manitowoc where she graduated from Lincoln High School. On September 2, 1972, she married Richard Castro at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Pam was a wonderful homemaker when her children were growing up. After they started school, Pam worked as a loan officer for various financial institutions. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking,and listening to music. Pam loved animals and always had a positive outlook on life.

Survivors include her loving husband, Richard; two children: Curtis Castro and Christa (Ozzy) Valles; nine grandchildren: Robert, Milana, Noah, Jesus (Kyli), Ceaser (Rayna), Ricardo, Mireya, Santos, and Maya; five great-grandchildren: Grayson, Ezekiel, Leilani, Michael, and Silvestre; siblings: Suzanne (David) Borowski, Gray Grosskopf, and Tracy Gajda. She is further survived by Richard's side of the family and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Glennes and an infant brother, Jeffrey.

Friends are invited to gather with family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Thursday, December 28, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. The Funeral Service will take place at 12 noon. Interment will be in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery, Pulaski.
