Patrick
Gwidt
Mar 17, 1943 — Nov 5, 2024
Patrick David Gwidt, Pulaski, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024, with his family at his side. Pat was born to be a farmer and was the third generation to keep the homestead farm going. When he harvested his crops for the year, he would begin planning for the next year, strategizing for better yields. All of his dairy herd had names and not numbers. He had the goal to leave things in better condition than he had found them.
Pat was born on March 17, 1943, to the late Max and Catherine (Zachwieja) Gwidt. He was a graduate of Pulaski High School, with the class of 1961. On July 19, 1969, he and Gloria Bluma were married at Assumption BVM Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria and their family: Duane, Craig (Stacy) and Sheri; grandchildren: Max, Cole, Riley, and Ava; siblings: Marilyn and Leo Skaletski, Janet Lasecki, Richard and Debbie Gwidt; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Margaret Gwidt, Ron and Gail Bluma, Linda Bluma, Leon and Pam Bluma, and Alan and Cheryl Bluma; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Special nieces and nephews (godchildren) include: James Kabara, Scott Gwidt, Kristen Miskoviak, Joel Bluma, Evan Bluma, Michael Bluma, and Megan Krause.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his siblings: Regina (Syl) Maroszek, Elizabeth (Roman) Kabara, John Gwidt, Raymond Gwidt, Gertrude (Ed) Kabara, William Gwidt, Martha (Norb) Wanek, Florence Gwidt and Robert (Melanie) Gwidt; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Vernon "Pete" Lasecki, Dennis Bluma and Janice (Ed) Krause.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E Pulaski Street, Pulaski, on Saturday, November 9, from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. James Vacco, O.F.M. presiding. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
The family would like to thank all those at HSHS Green Bay Hospitals who cared for and extended Pat's time with us. Thank you so very much.
Pat, we love you and will always miss you.
