Richard
Gwidt
Dec 18, 1949 — Nov 9, 2024
Richard A. Gwidt, 74, of Wrightstown and formerly of Pulaski, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 9, 2024. The son of Max and Catherine (Zachwieja) Gwidt was born on December 18, 1949, in Pulaski.
Dick grew up in Pulaski and graduated from Pulaski High School. He farmed on the family farm with his brother, Pat, for a few years before running his own farm in the Town of Maple Grove. Dick also worked as the agronomy manager at the Pulaski- Chase Co-op for over 44 years, until his retirement.
On March 1, 2002, he married Debra Wallen at Peace Lutheran Church. Dick was an avid bowler. When his children were young, he helped with 4H. He always enjoyed cooking for guests; they would often call his house the "Gwidt Restaurant." He loved the Packers and was a season ticket holder for many years. Richard and Debra enjoyed many years of traveling. Deb would always say to Richard "life is a journey, not just a destination".
Dick was a kind, soft-spoken person and had the biggest heart. He would do anything for anyone.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Gwidt; children: Scott (Melissa) Gwidt and Chrystal (Rich) Teddy; three grandchildren: Caitlyn, Henry, and Connor; sisters: Marilyn (Leo) Skaletski and Janet Lasecki; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Gloria Gwidt, Margaret Gwidt, Su (Curt) Boehm, Chris (Bob) Schuh, Paula (Dave) Reno, Jim (Kathy) Wallen, and Chuck (Patti) Wallen; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
