Obituary

Robert Skalecki, 82, Pulaski, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at Woodside Lutheran Home, Green Bay, where he has made his home for many years. The son of John and Anna (Zywicki) Skalecki was born on May 1, 1944, in Pulaski.

Robert graduated from Pulaski High School and after graduating he worked on the family dairy farm in Pulaski.

Robert was a lifelong member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church.  He was an avid Packers fan and loved coaching them from his chair at home. Robert also appreciated family gatherings, and loved spending time with his dog, "Champ".

Survivors include his brother, Dennis (Shirley) Skalecki, Pulaski; his sister-in-law, Catherine Skalecki, Pulaski; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sylvester Skalecki and twin sister, Betty Skalecki.

Friends are invited to gather with family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Tuesday, July 21, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to all the staff at Woodside Lutheran Home for their loving and compassionate care of Bob over the years.
