Obituary

Sandra M. Neumann, Green Bay and formerly of Krakow, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, surrounded by her family and beloved dog, Maggie. The daughter of Wallace and Marcella (Miller) Drzewiecki was born at home in the Town of Angelica on December 15, 1947.

Sandy was a 1965 graduate of Pulaski High School. On June 4, 1966, she married Jerome Neumann at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. The couple operated a dairy farm in Krakow for 13 years. She then ran the PACE Center for kids for several years until her retirement.

Sandy had a passion for baking and was an expert at various pies and peanut butter cookies. In her younger years, Sandy enjoyed polka dancing. She also enjoyed playing cards, listening to polka music and making beautiful artificial flower center pieces. Most of all she loved doting on her very special dog, Maggie.

Survivors include her daughters: Lorraine (Steve) Englebert and Tammy Bain (significant other, Jim Younger); her grandchildren: Cody (Mackenzie) Walinski, Lynsey Walinski, Danielle Sweger, Brady Englebert, and Abigale Englebert; great-grandson, Bowen; siblings: Judy (Fabian) Baranczyk, Geraldine (Daniel) Schrader, Gary (Julie) Drzewiecki, Michael Drzewiecki (Sara Duda), Dennis (Judy) Drzewiecki, and Mary Lynn (Joseph) Socha; in-laws, Roger (Emily) Neumann; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, on February 2, 2023; parents, Wallace and Marcella; her daughter, Cheryl Neumann; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Agnes Neumann; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Drzewiecki.
