Obituary

On Monday, November 25, 2024, Vernie "Angie" Preuss lost her battle with Lewy Body Dementia, she resided at Legacy of the Northwoods Assisted Living Facility, Eagle River. The daughter of the late Stanley and Kathryn (Schnesniak) Jarosinski was born January 12, 1932.

On November 3, 1979, she married Fred Preuss Sr. in Milwaukee. After retirement, Fred and Vernie moved to Big Arbor Vitae Lake. Together, they enjoyed camping, and she was an avid fisherperson. She also enjoyed bowling, fishing, ceramics, crocheting, crafts and bingo.

Survivors include a step-daughter, Deb (Becky) Preuss – Rattenbach,, Arbor Vitae; a niece, Audrey (Mike) Krueger; and several other nieces and other family members.

In addition to her parents, Stanley and Kathryn and husband Fred, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Ellen Preuss; four brothers: Sylvester (Erma) Jarosinski, Tony (Cora) Jarosinski, Louis (Rhea) Jarosinski, Walter (Rita) Jarosinski; two sisters: Ann Pinkowski, Regina (Alphonse) Smith.

Friends are invited to gather at St. Stanislaus Church, W1888 Hofa Park Rd., Seymour (Hofa Park) on Wednesday, December 4, from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. James Vacco, O.F.M. presiding. A luncheon will be provided following the service. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
